'Here Come The Girls'  2 Timothy 1 v 7

God did not give us a spirit of fear

but of power and love and of calm and well balanced mind.

Friday - We met in The Thistle Hotel where we had a lovely meal. The cars were left in the Hotel car park for the weekend and then we flew out to Benidorm together and were delighted with our lovely Hotel.

Saturday - We shared breakfast together and then gathered to hear Deborah open 'Here Come the Girls' with Excel on tour.  We went on to enjoy a fun ice breaker sharing our embarrasing moments. Then it was Carolines time to share in Spain for the first time, sharing from our scripture in 2 Timothy she spoke about how we can get the power to overcome fear. We were then free to explore and enjoy the sunshine and hotel pool. In the evening we all met in the dinning room for our evening meal. Then we were able to go out to see the lights of Benidorm at the front or stay and enjoy the Hotels entertainment.

Sunday - We again shared breakfast together and then we had our Sunday meeting in Spain!

The meeting started off with an hilarious icebreaker. We enjoyed singing together with songs played on ipod and then Angela shared with Excel for the first time in Spain. The weather was wonderful 28 - 30 degrees ! So Sunbathing and enjoying the pool or the beach was the choice of the day while some went shopping. After our evening meal together some stayed and enjoyed the Hotels entertainment others went for a late night paddle on the beach.

Monday - Our last day but there was still time for us to be together for breakfast. We got together again and shared some of the things that we had got from our trip. Some shared stories of major breakthroughs and how they had had great times just being together and enjoying the sunshine. In closing our meetings Deborah shared from our scripture and spoke on lifting high the banner.  We experienced a very moving time of prayerfully commiting our lives to Jesus as we all stood under the banner and Deborah annointed us with special fragrant Spikenard oil.  We had a great time travelling and sharing time together, the hotel was great and the weather was hotter than last year! Women Excel in Benidorm October 3rd - 6th   John 10 v 10

28 women had the privilege to be

with Deborah and Women Excel in Spain

We all met at Aberdeen airport and traveled together to Benidorm.

On Saturday morning we had breakfast together.

Then we gathered together to hear Deborah open our first session of Women Excel in Spain. We had fun and games in ' getting to know you' led by Brenda and the Zoe team.   Fiona Kozak shared her powerful story of the work God had done in her life to completely turn her life around bringing her through tough times and healing her emotionally and physically. She shared how through allowing God to work in her and through others she was made whole again. After our short time together we were free to do as we wanted, so some of us went for lunch and to explore, while others went on bus tours and shopping.  We met up in the evening and had a meal together in the hotel and then some of us went to see a parade in the town which was very colourful and lively, full of wonderful costumes and Spanish music.

On Sunday after breakfast we met together and had our Sunday service in Benidorm!

We joined together in worship and prayer. Deborah shared with the women on how much God loved them and wants the best for them. A lot of us had break-throughs where God ministered directly into our lives. We again had fun with games and dancing with Brenda and the Zoe team. There was time for us to go out into town and we were able to find a Sunday market where we got some presents to take home.  Some of us went to a water park and had a fun time there . We met up and had our evening meal together and later that evening some of us went and saw the second evening of the parade which finished with a fantastic firework display.

On Monday we were preparing to come home but we still had breakfast together and then gathered to meet up and talk about what an amazing few days it had been and what we enjoyed most and where we would go if we went on tour again. Our home flight was in the evening so we had lunch, enjoyed some final shopping trips and caught some more sun!

We all agreed that our trip had been really great, filled with times together with God and each other. The ladies were affected and changed by the word and just by being together. We were blessed with a lovely hotel which was well located in the town for us to be able to enjoy the beach and the town. The weather was hot but not too hot and the food was very tasty.  All in all a great time held in a lovely location with good company. Thank You Jesus! More Photos are on the Gallery.
